Module 8 - Cycle of Learning: Coming Full Circle
The first section of this module is meant to help students who would like to use Ida tools or person-centered methods in a clinical practice where their colleagues or preceptors are not. The Personal Change Guide is used to help clinicians make smoother transitions into professional practice and develop habits for monitoring their own change process.
Finally, the last section integrates all the material from the course and allows students to explore ways in which the Ida Tools (Time and Talk; the Line, the Box, and the Circle; Communication Rings and the Goal Sharing for Partners; Living Well, etc.) can help clinicians practice person-centered care. It is our hope that this material will help clinicians explore different approaches to clinical encounters with their clients.
