Module 6 - An Introduction to Tinnitus and Its Management

In this unit we will explore the challenges involved in constructing a management approach, which is individual and specific for each patient. General concepts like person-centered care, shared decision making, and involving family and friends will be discussed. The evidence for education and counseling as an effective component of tinnitus management is presented. Then this unit concludes with different approaches to sound therapy and the evidence supporting them.
