More than 20 esteemed hearing care professionals attended the Ida Institute seminar last month in Skodsborg, Denmark. The seminar was entitled Defining Hearing: Clinical Definitions of Hearing Loss Are Not Always Understood By Everyday People. The distinguished faculty for the seminar included the following lecturers: Dr. Harvey Abrams, Dr. Kristina [...] Kristina English, Dr. Christine dePlacido and Dr. Tine Tjørnhøj-Thomsen. The seminar involved interactive workshops, lectures and a theater project. In addition, participants worked on finding solutions to daily issues regarding communication with their patients.

More than 20 hearing healthcare professionals from 9 countries attended the Defining Hearing 1B seminar from January 26th-28th 2009. 'We were very pleased with the excitement and creativity of this group of participants who are leaders in their local communities and who we believe will be active members of the Ida global community, said Lise Lotte Bundesen [...] Bundesen, Director of the Ida Institute.
