The Ida Institute Announces Defining Hearing Seminar

The Ida Institute is pleased to present its first education seminar entitled, Defining Hearing: Clinical Definitions of Hearing Loss Are Not Always Understood By Everyday People on 24-26 September in Skodsborg, Denmark. The purpose of this seminar is to develop a relationship centered care approach to defining hearing.

The distinguished faculty for the seminar include the following lecturers: Dr. Harvey Abrams Dr. Kristina English, Dr. Christine dePlacido and Dr. Tine Tjørnhøj-Thomsen.

A group of approximately 20 hearing care professionals have been accepted into the programme and provided an educational stipend to attend the seminar.

‘We are extremely excited about this seminar because it is the first of its kind in hearing healthcare and audiology,’ said Dr. Kristina English, associate professor, president of the American Academy of Audiology and Ida Institute faculty member.
