Participants were very excited and enthusiastic about the seminar, which included lectures, role-play exercises, collaborative group work and networking opportunities. “I was very impressed with the diversity of our group, yet the similarities when it comes to our work with hearing impaired patients,” remarked one participant. “This entire seminar [...] needed to try and see each other’s perspectives because we were a [diverse] group of academics, program managers, audiologists in national health organizations and the private sector. Institute staff and fellows will contribute to the upcoming AAA Conference in Boston by staffing an exhibit, holding a workshop on the Living Well tool and previewing the Ida Group AR Multi-Media Manual. Throughout the conference, Ida will staff an exhibit where visitors can join our network, pick up hard-copies of our tools and purchase our two newest [...] The session will discuss interesting and challenging audiologic rehabilitation cases.
