Bert Meijers has joined the Ida Institute as our new Project Manager, and he will be responsible for developing, planning and driving our integrated online resources - including the forthcoming Ida Learning Hall.
Before joining us at the Ida Institute, Bert worked within international development as a fundraiser and partnership developer for international NGOs such as ActionAid Denmark and the sport-for-development network organization streetfootballworld in Berlin. Bert comes from the Netherlands and has a background in social innovation with a degree from the KaosPilots in Aarhus, in Denmark.
For a number of years, Bert worked as a project manager within the field of Impact Investment and Social Entrepreneurship by managing partnerships and producing conferences for industry-leading organizations such as SOCAP in San Francisco and Pymwymic in Amsterdam. Besides his experience in managing projects, Bert will contribute with his creative and participatory facilitation skills.
