Ida is busy finalizing all the details to launch another tool early in 2013! Through a process of collaboration with key specialists within the audiology world, Ida is excited to be shortly adding the new 'Change Guide' to the list of tools already available.
This new online tool is designed to help hearing care professionals implement the Ida tools in a clinical setting as a way to foster patient-centered care. This Change Guide provides a step-by-step process on how to manage the change required in order for the Ida tools to be successfully applied to a clinical setting.
To support the change process in a clinic or department, the guide uses a combination of activities, videos, case stories and reflective exercises.
The Change Guide is based on an appreciative approach to change, which has its roots in the Appreciative Inquiry Methodology. Rather than take a top-down and problem focused approach to change, the Guide helps you reflect on and talk about what works well now and how you can get more of that. This is fundamentally different from more traditional approaches to change and helps create ownership for the process and more sustainable outcomes.
Full details of the Change Guide will be available here on the Ida website, so look out for details in the early part of next year.
