We have two new employees walking through the hallways of the Ida Institute. Ena Nielsen and Tim Cooke just joined the Ida team at the beginning of August. Both bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Ida from their respective fields, and we’re really happy to have them on board.
Tim is our new web content editor. His responsibilities will include developing website content, managing the Ida Forum, and expanding the Institute’s social media presence.
Tim has over five years of experience in the areas of web content development and project. Prior to joining Ida, he developed long-term partnerships between the U.S. Government and academic institutions in U.S. and Europe, utilizing the web and social media to maintain a growing network of partners. Before that, he worked at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Project Manager.
Tim holds a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
Ena Nielsen joins Ida as a Project Manager, where she will manage the Institute’s tools development, launches, and marketing strategies. She will also contribute to the development of Ida seminars and other outreach activities.
Ena comes to Ida Institute from Deloitte with over ten years of experience in communications and learning development and design in the area of corporate social responsibility. She has also worked in educational publishing in the UK and has experience with university-level teaching at Copenhagen and Oxford Universities.
Ena holds a Masters of Art in German and English from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D. in German literature from the University of Oxford.
As we say hello to Ena and Tim, we must also say goodbye to Anders Sloth and Eva Mariann Nielsen, who have completed their work on the Ida E-Learning Lab. We wish Anders and Eva all the best in their future endeavors.
