Get the word out! Ida is coming to a city near you. We have been busy over the last couple of weeks preparing for our upcoming workshops in London and Florida.
On October 10th, we will be at University College London, where we will explore the challenges of bringing communication partners (i.e. husbands, wives, friends, etc.) into the rehabilitation process. Hearing loss affects more than one person: it impacts family and friends in many instances. This workshop can help you ensure that a patient’s communication partner is part of the solution, as opposed to part of the problem.
For our US community members, we offer a workshop in Tampa, Florida, about Motivational Engagement at the University of South Florida on October 28th. All are invited to join us as we explore the topic of patient motivation and provide an introduction to the Ida Institute Learning Modules 1 and 2. The workshop is ASHA and AAA CEU accredited, providing 0.7 credits for attendees.
