More than 20 esteemed hearing care professionals attended the Ida Institute seminar last month in Skodsborg, Denmark. The seminar was entitled Defining Hearing: Clinical Definitions of Hearing Loss Are Not Always Understood By Everyday People.
The distinguished faculty for the seminar included the following lecturers: Dr. Harvey Abrams, Dr. Kristina English, Dr. Christine dePlacido and Dr. Tine Tjørnhøj-Thomsen.
The seminar involved interactive workshops, lectures and a theater project. In addition, participants worked on finding solutions to daily issues regarding communication with their patients.
