<p>The Ida Institute´s Advisory Board met on April 5, 2017, on the occasion of this year’s AudiologyNOW! Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.</p>
<p>The full-day meeting included a round-up of current and upcoming Ida activities. As per custom, Ida’s Advisory Board members provided updates on new research and relevant developments in the healthcare systems in their respective countries.</p>
<p>The meeting included a presentation on Teaching Empathy through 360 Degree Video and Embodiment Techniques by Advisory Board Member Deborah Ferarri, as well as a discussion of how to strengthen the global focus on person-centered care in audiology. </p>
<p>In addition to Deborah Ferarri, the Advisory Board members include Louise Hickson (Chairwoman), Darcy Benson, Melanie Gregory, Lucille Beck, Christine Yoshinaga-Itano, De Wet Swanepoel and Uwe Hermann.</p>
