The Ida Institute held its newest educational seminar series "Motivational Engagement" in May. More than 20 participants worldwide attended the seminar.
The seminar focused on how audiologists and other hearing healthcare professionals can motivate patients and/or help ensure existing patient motivation remains high enough to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Participants were very excited about the seminar which provided lectures, theater role play scenarios and collaborative group work.
"I was very happy to be involved in the Ida workshop," said Jamie Prentice, who is a senior trainer (Business Development Manager) with Amplifon in the UK. "I will definitely be bringing new tools, experiences and ideas back to work. This was a truly eye opening experience."
"This first seminar met our expectations and the participants energy and excitement means we will see impact on daily practice," said Lise Lotte Bundesen, director of the Ida Institute.
All Ida seminars use the Ida Institute framework to offer participants the chance to explore both their own practices and also the practice of audiology within a wider global context.
