Louise Hickson

Louise Hickson, Ph.D. is Professor of Audiology, Head of School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, and Co-Director of the Communication Disability Centre at The University of Queensland.

Her research interests include the effects of hearing impairment on the lives of older people, how to measure outcomes in that population and the development of strategies and interventions that improve outcomes of audiological rehabilitation.  She serves as the chairman of the Ida Institute Advisory Board and is a Fellow of the International Collegium of Rehabilitative Audiology and the Audiological Society of Australia.

She also serves as an Editor for the International Journal of Audiology.
