Ida Welcomes New Design and Innovation Consultant

By Amanda Farah Cox

The Ida Institute is pleased to welcome the newest addition to our team, Charlotte Mathiesen. Charlotte officially joined us this week as our Design and Innovation Consultant.

Prior to joining Ida, Charlotte worked as an independent consultant for six years, specializing in design thinking and graphic facilitation. Her previous projects have included the Danish Red Cross and projects with libraries and hospitals in Denmark. Ida will draw on her experience in facilitating and supporting co-creation as we expand into new areas of interest and continue to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Charlotte has a background in integrated design, with a degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Copenhagen Business School. She worked as a fashion designer for a number of years before turning her focus to innovation and creative processes. She received her certification as a facilitator through the International Association of Facilitators.

With her holistic and human approach to work, Charlotte is a natural fit with the Ida philosophy. She will be joining us on projects such as the Big Messages and the Journey of Life tool. In addition to her facilitation and innovation work, we look forward to benefiting from her strong graphic eye. Welcome, Charlotte!
