Ida Tools Presented Through Audiology Online Webinars

By Amanda Farah Cox

The Ida Institute has partnered with Audiology Online for a series of continuing education online presentations. The webinars are delivered by Ida Institute Project Manager and Audiologist Anne Mette Krogstrup Jeppesen and include introductions to different tools, ethnographic and clinical videos, handouts, and information on how to use the tools in your practice.

The presentations are free, and CEU Total Access members can complete exams after the presentations for continuing education credits. The webinars are recorded during their live dates and archived on the Audiology Online website for later access. If you have ever wanted to try using an Ida tool in your clinical appointments but felt you needed more guidance to get started, these presentations are an excellent way of being taken through the process.

The first two webinars focused, respectively, on the My World tool and the Motivation Tools as a means to empower patients. The upcoming presentation will focus on the Communication Partner tools and how to involve communication partners in the rehabilitative process. The live date for the next presentation is 17 June. There are plans for two further presentations, one in September and one in December. You can view the archived My World and Motivation Tools presentations at the Audiology Online website.
