Ida Workshop Puts Patient Education on the Agenda

By Amanda Farah Cox

The Ida Institute will host a two-day innovation workshop in Denmark at the end of June. The workshop will further the work done during the October 2017’s “What Matters To You?” seminar, focusing on the theme of patient education with the goal of developing and conceptualizing ideas for educational materials to support people with hearing loss. The workshop is organized in collaboration with Action on Hearing Loss, Hearing Loss Association of America, and the Ear Foundation and will include participation from hearing care professionals and people with hearing loss.

“Our last seminar produced an abundance of insights and concrete ideas,” says Lise Lotte Bundesen, Managing Director of the Ida Institute.  “Patient education was an overriding theme in that seminar, and we’re really looking forward to working with the participants of this workshop and our partners to create materials that will help people on their hearing journey.”
