This enables clients to articulate and reflect on why they want to take action and what prevents them from doing so. By listening closely, you can effectively support the person with hearing loss and help them make a decision. You can thus save valuable time by directly addressing what is most important to the client. The Motivation Tools are quick and simple to implement and their effectiveness is supported by research and evidence.

Client self-assessment and the hearing care professional's observations help to focus the discussion around the client's readiness for change. It is not necessary to share where you would place the client on the Circle with them.
