Background
Concern has been raised that note-taking and especially PC based note-taking can interfere with the communication process in medical interviews. This concern is often raised by clinicians themselves but less is known about how patients perceive the interview process.
Objective
The aim of this study was to investigate patient opinion regarding the use of a patient-centered interview approach combined with PC-based note taking during diagnostic vestibular assessments.
RelatedIdaTools
The study did not focus on a specific Ida Tool. The focus was on patient-centered approaches in audiology.
Timeline
Research was conducted in 2009.
