TheIdaWebsiteKeepsEvolving:CheckOutOurNewlyEnhancedToolRoom
The Ida Tool Room is now an even more inviting space to explore our practical, easy-to-implement tools and methods. We have completely reorganized and redesigned the tool room to improve usability and functionality.
The tool room is the heart of the Ida website. It is where professionals from around the world can easily access Ida’s tools and methods. From the tool room, members of our online community can download electronic versions of the tools and watch instructional videos on how to implement the tools in their clinical practice.
In the new tool room, we have re-organized the tools into five thematic groups: Assessing Patient Motivation, Engaging Family and Friends, Self-Development in the Clinical Setting, Living Well and Pediatric Audiology. The tools are now grouped with similar tools, instead of having dedicated web pages of their own. This structure highlights how the tools can be used together to achieve like goals and objectives.
The design of the new tool room puts the spotlight on the instructional videos that compliment each tool. Downloading the tool is one thing, but it is also important to learn how to use the various tools in different clinical situations. Each tool section highlights instructional videos, where Ida senior audiologist Melanie Gregory carefully explains how the tools can be used in your clinical practice.
The tool room is now live on our website. We invite you to check it out and tell us what you think. Please visit the Ida Forum to give us your comments.
